Elliott Woods

Elliott Woods joined the National Guard in July 2001 and served with Charlie Company, 276th Engineer Battalion, in the environs of Mosul, Iraq, from 2004-2005. Woods lives in Cairo, Egypt, where he studies Arabic and works as a freelance writer. His contribution to this issue is his first published nonfiction.
