VQR Wins a National Magazine Award
The National Magazine Awards for Digital Media (aka the Digital Ellies) were announced yesterday afternoon in New York City, and VQR beat out such heavyweights as Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Mother Jones, Slate, and Time to pick up the award in the News Reporting category for Jason Motlagh’s “Sixty Hours of Terror.”
This marks four National Magazine Awards and eighteen nominations for VQR in the past six years. Congratulations go out to Jason and the entire staff of VQR!
The winners of the print Ellies will be announced in an April 22 ceremony at Lincoln Center. We’re in the running for two more awards: Photojournalism and Fiction.
