Alejandro Zambra

Alejandro Zambra was born in Santiago, Chile, in 1975. He has published two books of poetry: Useless Bay (Stratis, 1998) and Change (Quid, 2003). Bonsai (Anagram, 2006), published in this issue, has been translated for publication in France, Greece, and Portugal. His second novel is The Private Lives of Trees (Anagram, 2007).
