
Susan Eisenberg
Biography
Susan Eisenberg is a poet, visual artist, and oral historian, and was among the first women to become an International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers construction electrician. Author of five poetry books, most recently Stanley’s Girl (Cornell, 2018), and the nonfiction New York Times Notable Book We’ll Call You If We Need You (Cornell, 1998), Eisenberg is a recipient of the Joe Hill Award and the poetry editor of the journal Labor (Duke UP).
